Tôi có đọc đâu đó rằng, có ba điều người đàn ông tử tế không được phép làm: bất hiếu với bố mẹ, lừa dối người mình yêu và không thừa nhận con cái. Sự trung thực, với người đàn ông, chính là một trong những biểu hiện đó. Đối diện với những sự cố lớn của cuộc đời, người đàn ông sẽ bộc lộ tâm tính của mình rõ nhất. 

Steve Job có nói rằng, người thợ mộc tài hoa là người không bao giờ dùng miếng gỗ xấu làm mặt sau chiếc tủ của mình. Bởi có thể người khác không biết, nhưng chính bạn thì biết rất rõ điều đó… Sự thật do chính mình tạo nên, có lẽ hơn ai hết, chúng ta tự thấu hiểu. Cách biểu đạt sự thật ra sao với người đối diện là tuỳ vào cách chúng ta ứng xử. Nhưng mỗi cách ứng xử của chúng ta cũng thể hiện bản chất con người. Người thợ mộc tài hoa có thể có đủ cách lấp liếm để biện minh rằng, tấm gỗ ấy phù hợp với chiếc tủ ấy. Nhưng anh ta sẽ biết, nó có thực sự xứng đáng với một chiếc tủ đẹp hay không. Và người tử tế thì sẽ không chấp nhận điều đó, ngay từ khi ý định đó chưa hình thành.

Trong kịch “Trai đẹp lắm chiêu” ở sân khấu Thế giới trẻ, có một anh chàng lái taxi nói dối hoàn hảo, đến mức có hai cô vợ ở cách nhau hai dãy phố mà vẫn rất êm ấm. Anh ta lên lịch chăm sóc vợ cả, âu yếm vợ hai hoàn hảo. Cho đến một ngày anh ta vô tình bắt cướp trên đường phố và báo chí đưa tin. Từ đó, phần còn lại của vở kịch chỉ là cuộc trốn chạy và lấp liếm của chàng nói dối, với những tình huống cười ra nước mắt. Kịch bản hợp lý đến mức, ai cũng tin rằng, kẻ nói dối thì chẳng bao giờ có thể… sống sót, nhất là xung quanh anh ta toàn những người tử tế và thật thà…

Trong những bộ phim xã hội đen của Hồng Kông, những bộ phim dành cho giới bình dân với những câu chuyện tình – tiền – tù – tội có phần thảm khốc. Người ta luôn làm ra những mâu thuẫn triệt để rồi thanh trừng, báo thù, tạo nên những cảnh huống gay cấn và hồi hộp. Tôi vẫn nhớ rất rõ, hình ảnh những người đàn ông chính trực trong bộ phim ấy, dù có thể gặp những sự cố chết người nhưng với những gì là rường cột của cuộc sống, của lý tưởng sống, đó là gia đình, ông chủ và những đứa con, họ sẽ bảo vệ đến cùng!.

Người cha đi ra đường chém đối thủ hay thủ tiêu kẻ thù, nhưng sẽ cố gắng không cho con mình biết điều đó. Không phải đó là sự dối trá, mà cố gắng giữ cho con cuộc sống yên lành. Hay người đàn ông có thể bỏ trốn hay tháo chạy khỏi các cuộc đua, nhưng anh ta sẽ không bao giờ bỏ rơi người phụ nữ mình yêu. Và đặc biệt, dù chính hay tà, thì sự hiếu đễ với cha mẹ là điều mà các nhà làm phim đặc biệt đề cao. Đó tất nhiên chỉ là phim ảnh, nhưng nói theo cách khác thì phim ảnh chính là nơi thể hiện khát vọng của con người. Người ta luôn có niềm tin rằng, người đàn ông sẽ là trụ cột của một tổ chức hay trụ cột gia đình. Và khán giả sẽ phẫn nộ khi nhận ra rằng, người hùng mà họ đặt niềm tin hoá ra lại là kẻ hèn nhát và vô nhân.

Tôi từng gặp những người đàn ông (mà không biết có thực sự là đàn ông không) ngoài mặt toàn nói những điều tốt đẹp, nhưng khi đối tác vừa quay đi đã xọc thẳng một nhát dao sau lưng. Có những người rất trí thức, làm giám khảo nhiều cuộc thi, đã từng ngồi trước mặt tôi nói những lời khen ngợi hết lời, nhưng trong một đám gặp với người khác lại chê tôi không còn một lời nào xấu xa hơn thế. Một người đàn ông tử tế có lẽ không bao giờ làm những việc hạ lưu như thế. Và tuyệt đối không sống hai mặt. Và người đàn ông quan trọng nhất là phải giữ chữ tín của mình, không bao giờ dùng sự dối trá để hành nghề và ứng xử trong đời. Khi nghe được tất cả những điều đó, bị đâm sau lưng đến đau điếng, tôi chọn giải pháp im lặng. Xoá bỏ tất cả những điều đó ra khỏi cuộc sống của mình. Bởi nói như đức Phật, im lặng chính là cấp độ cao nhất cho sự phỉ báng.

Người đàn ông trung thực không có nghĩa là người đàn ông ngờ nghệch và ngô nghê. Sự trung thực không bao hàm nghĩa của sự ngu dốt. Trung thực là thước đo phẩm chất của một con người trong xã hội hiện đại. Và sự trung thực đó được thể hiện trong những việc làm cụ thể, ứng với những quy chuẩn chung của xã hội. Những kẻ láu cá có thể có được những thành công nhanh chóng, nhưng sự nghiệp lâu bền của một con người không thể đi tắt và cũng không thể xây dựng bằng những xảo ngôn.

Một trong những nguyên tắc để sống, là thành thật với mình và với người. Sự khôn ngoan của một con người, là làm sao dung hoà được những điều mình muốn và người muốn. Trong nguyên tắc kinh doanh mới, sự hợp tác không chỉ bao hàm ý nghĩa kẻ nào mạnh là kẻ chiến thắng mà còn có hàm nghĩa rằng, khi chúng ta hợp tác chúng ta cùng có lợi, cùng là những người chiến thắng. Mà không có sự hợp tác lâu bền nào dựa trên sự dối trá.

Có những người đàn ông nho nhã và luôn “chém gió” ngoài đường, nhưng ứng xử với người thân như người dưng nước lã, bạc bẽo với bạn bè và thường xuyên đè ép nhân viên, đồng nghiệp, vậy thì đó có phải là người đàn ông trung thực và tử tế? Sự tử tế phải bắt đầu từ gốc rễ cuộc sống, từ trong căn nhà của bạn, trong tổ ấm hay trong cả một lời nói với người lạ mà bạn bắt gặp trên đường.

Đôi khi chúng ta phải tỉnh thức để biết mình nên làm gì cho đúng với chính mình, để khỏi bị vướng vào những cái bẫy của những lời nói dối.

Hãy chọn con đường nào gần gụi, để sống thật và sống khoẻ…

Vì cuộc sống này đã quá bề bộn rồi…

The Tenth House still called the Midheaven, is the highest point amidst the houses, at the top of the chart, in the South, and relates to destiny in general and career (and not daily work as meant by the Sixth House). The Midheaven represents our achievements and goals in the social sphere, our social position in society, and becomes more and more important as we get older. The Part of Fortune is an ancient concept, used by Ptolemy and other astrologers before him. Firstly, it has nothing to do with fortune! Interpretation of the 0° Taurus symbolic degree

The North Node (True Node here) represents the goals that must be achieved during life, in the karmic sense according to some traditions. Its position in house indicates in what field an effort is necessary in order to evolve. The North Node is often called the Dragon’s head, it is usually considered beneficial, a bit like Jupiter with the planets. The Lunar nodes are fictional points and not actual heavenly bodies: they are the intersections of the Moon with the Ecliptic (the path made by the Sun in its orbit as seen from the Earth). The axis of the Lunar nodes moves 19 degrees each year, namely a bit more than three minutes each day.

The South Node is diametrically opposed to the North Node, therefore it faces it (it’s not drawn here, it’s the same symbol but upside down). It symbolizes what has already been achieved or acquired, in a karmic sense: it’s the past from which it’s advised to move on in order to progress. The South Node is rather negative, of a Saturnian nature: the experience through suffering.
